Crystal Kids is a series of immersive psytrance events held across London, Manchester, and Turkey — uniting global sounds with bold, otherworldly aesthetics. Each event transforms its location into a surreal gathering space for electronic music lovers, blending art, light, and sound in hypnotic harmony.
As the lead designer, I developed the full visual identity system for these events — from poster design and social media assets to tile graphics and brand storytelling. Every visual was crafted to reflect the unique energy of the local scene while maintaining a consistent visual framework for the overall brand.
Working closely with the organisers, I created emotionally resonant and visually layered designs that sit between underground futurism and psychedelic fantasy. This evolving identity now supports a growing international presence, attracting diverse audiences and artists across borders.
LONDON

The London editions of Crystal Kids — Twilight Zone and Twilight Zone II — brought a sharper, industrial edge to the series, taking place in raw warehouse venues that amplified the immersive visuals and futuristic themes.
For both events, I designed bold, high-contrast promotional graphics rooted in deep tones, geometric precision, and eerie surrealism. The design direction echoed the heavier sounds of psytechno and dark progressive, using glitch textures, 3D render elements, and typographic rhythm to capture the sonic experience visually.
Each poster was developed as part of a modular system, aligning across social media campaigns, print collateral, and digital platforms — ensuring brand consistency while allowing room for each lineup’s individual character to come through.

MANCHESTER

Manchester is where Crystal Kids first found its pulse — a city with deep roots in underground music and a vibrant, high-energy crowd. The Psychedelic Journey series became a recurring ritual here, each edition evolving in scale and ambition.
My role was to lead the event branding across multiple editions, crafting a visual identity that felt both cohesive and fresh with every new release. I drew inspiration from alien motifs, sacred geometry, and liquid light visuals — blending otherworldly aesthetics with sharp, digital structure. The result: a series of posters and social media graphics that not only built anticipation, but also became recognisable visual cues for the local scene.
By iterating across editions while preserving core identity elements, I was able to strengthen the visual language and deepen audience recognition within Manchester's psytrance community.

TURKEY

The Crystal Kids debut in Turkey marked an expansion into new terrain — culturally rich, visually intense, and spiritually grounded. The Istanbul and Antalya editions (Psychedelic Temple and Psychedelic Unity) leaned into a more ceremonial and mythological tone.
I designed these visuals to feel more epic and ritualistic, balancing ancient symbolism with digital psychedelia. Earthier textures, deep blacks, and glowing focal points created a cinematic sense of gravity, echoing the darker and more atmospheric music direction of these events.
These posters served as powerful anchors for launching Crystal Kids in a new country, helping shape first impressions, build anticipation, and establish a high-impact presence in a new scene.

Across every city and lineup, Crystal Kids has become more than just an event series — it’s an evolving psychedelic world with its own language and rituals. My design contributions have helped shape this ecosystem visually, building bridges between locations while honouring the unique energy of each scene. This project continues to grow as a creative collaboration rooted in sound, symbolism, and the shared experience of transcendence on the dancefloor.
